The Centre for Bioengineering aims to be an internationally recognised interdisciplinary research centre of excellence, dedicated to servicing the biotech/bioengineering industry in New Zealand and throughout the world. The main goal of the Centre is to facilitate a link between academic research in fundamental science/engineering and the medical industry.
